"Zizi" is childish French slang for "penis", and "ix" is how the letter "x" is pronounced in French, so as a native French speaker, "Queen Zizi of Ix" is a *very* unfortunate name
"a diadem of diamonds set in radium," eh? Talk about lines that reveal when this book was written. I mean, from my understanding the major danger is more from breathing/ingesting radium than touching it, but still not a big selling point for jewelry nowadays.
